Coveted Crib: An Eco-Chic Island Home
The Posts Standing House, which was built on Gambier Island off the Coast of British Columbia, takes the concept of the log cabin and infuses it with style and beauty. With Japanese timberframing influences apparent in its design, as well as the use of local materials, this is one
eco-chic residence. To see its stunning interior, check out the slideshow.

British Columbia is so beautiful. I'd love to live there, this house would just be a plus.
1This is a beautiful home, too much wood for my tastes but I appreciate what they wanted to achieve and they did it magnificently. And Gambier Island is a beautiful place but then so is most of British Columbia!
