I absolutely love this set up. I think grey is a great color and defiantly plan to use it when painting my future house.

My living room is called Down Poor. It's a very pretty gray. Our dining room is right off of our living room and it is painted a very deep blue called December Eve and they look great together. I have light tan and brown and green furniture/accents and it looks great.

Our bedroom walls are called puddle. this gray is darker than our living room, but its so nice because depending on what colors you use in the room and different light sources, it can have a hint of purple or sometimes almost a red color. With just the bedroom light on though it just looks like a very nice gray.

I'd have to see it in person...I think I like black better than gray.

I just painted my 2nd bedroom 2 shades of gray and let me tell you- it was sooooo hard to pick the perfect shade! Grays can take blue, purple, or brown/dirty color undertones depending on light and how you match other paint color in the room. I seriously tried Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams AND some other random paint company- about 6 different shades in total.

I ended up with Sherwin Williams Repose Gray for the lighter three walls and Sherwin Williams Cityscape for the accent, dark gray wall. I paired the dark gray wall with antique side tables that I painted trim white, a leather headboard, and white vinyl chandelier drawings I got from blik and the room has an awesome modern yet antique feel!
