In full Summer vacation mode, Gossip guy Chace Crawford recently did some light reading, drank a fountain soda, and lounged in a sophisticated striped chair in a London park. If you happen to live in L-town and want to do some lounging of your own, a little investigative Flickr-ing suggests that you can do the same in Hyde Park. If you live on the other side of the pond, no worries, I've gone and found those purdy chairs for you. To hear where, read more.
QuelObjet.com sells the Deck Chair ($140) in 13 color combinations of stripes, made from 100-percent cotton in the southwest of France; Basic French sells the Les Toiles du Soleil Chair ($135) in multicolor, green, or orange stripes; and the Company Store sells the Vintage Style Sling Chair ($95) in five color options. The construction of all three is the same. So, choose your favorite color, whip up some fish and chips, and enjoy your Summer in true Brit fashion.

I'm pretty sure Chase is hanging out in St. James Park and if you're visiting lovely London, you can rent the lawn chairs for a couple hours for just a few pounds!
1They have those chairs in Hyde Park and yes, you do have to pay to sit in them. A man will come up with a little box demanding payment...
2He looks comfy. And I like those types of chairs.
3Green Park > Hyde Park!
4The chairs remind me of all my trips to London. I remember the first time that my friend and I tried to sit down - we were so startled that a man was asking us to pay for our relaxation time.
5All the London parks are absolutely beautiful and perfect for sleeping, reading, visiting or just people watching.
I hate chairs like that since they're so hard to get in and out of gracefully.
6Heh, I love that they're called sophisticated - you find them on *every* single beach, park, you name it in England... They are super comfy though less than dignified as JaimeLeah says!
