If you're a long-time CasaSugar reader, you already know that Adrian Grenier used green insulation when he renovated his Brooklyn brownstone. But did you know the eco-minded actor has his own green television series? Grenier's new show, Alter Eco, premiers tonight at 9 on Planet Green. The 13-part series will follow Grenier and his team as they green building projects all over Los Angeles, including overhauling a club using salvaged materials. I love Grenier's down-to-earth attitude about greening one's lifestyle. In an interview with Ecorazzi, he said, "If everyone just became a little more aware of his or her own personal impact on the earth, real change would ultimately result." Well, I guess he might be the only actor actually living out his "green" philosophy rather than just preaching to the rest of us. But the beard has to go. Is he trying to save water by not shaving?
Haha, good one, Brendelwoman.
Actually the show was on this weekend and it's quite interesting. I really liked it and I loved how he went shopping on the "eco strip" where everything was either recycled or made of materials salvaged from fabric or metal factories. They show you how to compost and grow your own veggies and fruits. It was quite interesting.
this looks like a fun show, and so do the others on planet green! but....anyone know where/how i can watch these episodes online???
I'd like to watch it.
You can watch some clips from Planet Green shows here!
I'm going to stick watching the show and see how the house is renovated using green materials.
go green!!
