I grew up in an all-bright-white kitchen, so I feel at home in them. There's something about white kitchens that is so fresh and so clean — probably because having one makes dirt more visible. But I love color so much that it's hard to avoid buying colorful things for my own kitchen. How about you?

absolutely not functional...
1absolutely functional! but you have to be OCD about cleaning, and you really can't have children:) But for the modernist, OCDer like me, it's uber fab! So all white with chrome finishings, (or all one solid color with chrome really!) is just too stylish.
2While I do love modern styles. This looks like it belongs in a hospital..infectious disease unit or something.
3too institutional looking
4I like a little color --maybe pale yellow or light green.
5it's too stark and sterile for me. and too bright.
6the white tile as the backsplash dates it i think or makes it less appealing. If white is the choice of color for the kitchen i feel like it needs to be very modern and sleek
7what i learned in color theory: mentally instable people's favorite color tends to be white.
8I need color in my life...my ideal kitchen is cobalt blue and white, and once I'm no longer renting it will be a reality
9I like it, but I feel like you need at least ONE pop of color...
10I have white tile on my kitchen floors and I HATE it. My black cat has covered it with hair minutes after it has been washed, and the low-traffic areas even show dust between washings.
The trouble spots between the fridge/stove/counter junctions where dust collects, and things fall look sooo bad. Still, I don't know anyone OCD enough to move their fridge and stove to clean there every week.
It's a rental, so I can't change it, but never again.
The thought of a whole kitchen that's so high maintenance.... I'd rather have a functional kitchen than a show room.
11it just makes me feel like it'd be too cold. like i get chills looking at it. i dunno, A+ on the look of cleanliness, would be the perks of it... but i like my house to feel cozy and warm, specially my kitchen.
12I like it because it brings back memories of childhood. We had the 1950's style white metal cabinets with chrome accents, white stove and refrigerator. My Mom kept it immaculate, but if I had it, I'd accent it with blue canisters, bowls and delft blue plates on the walls.
13When I first moved into my house I had white walls and white cabinets. I thought it was awesome at first but I quickly needed a change. I painted the walls apple green and it looks so much better!
14I would make it stand out with a pop of color. A tablecloth, decorating pieces or a nice colorful kitchen rug.
15I don't know about the all white. I have young kids and a grown man in my house and they ALL leave finger prints EVERYWHERE. I have to wipe down my walls that are a cream, almost very light yellow once a week or so.
But I do LOVE the color of this floor.
16I love the clean look.
17I actually really like the kitchen in the above photo. The differing textures (the shag rug, wood floors, and lace tablecloth) really break up the room for me and I think it looks great!
18I'd love it if it were at someone else's house...just not my style.
19I don't hate it. I'm just ambivalent towrd it. Maybe that's worse.
20No way. That looks a mess in my opinion.
21Love it, but if this was my house, I'd probably only be able to restrain myself for about 3 minutes before I'd run outside and pick a bunch of flowers for a punch of color!
22Wayyyyy too stark and cold-looking. I like white in the kitchen, but I need some pops of color!
23I love white cabinets and surfaces but I would paint the walls a different color.
24I like it but it could do with a few more plants so that will add a touch of green to it..maybe soem wheatgrass, now thats healthy too.
25I like it. For me personally, I would like a few bright pops of color - some bowls, a vase, tablecloth. But I think this kitchen is very fresh and clean looking.
26absolutely love it! Although it MUST be kept clean, that is for sure.
27love it but would prefer it to have an industrial feel to it.
28I am a clean freak, love white.....white=clean, but this is too much white...ugh!
29White tends to become more vibrant when it has color to bounce from. The majority of my kitchen is white, floor to ceiling cupboards in bead board, white appliances. I balance this with periwinkle walls and red accent pieces.
30You know I love white kitchens.
Anything else is gloomy and depressing as far as
I'm concerned.
