Yesterday I gave you some details from Carrie's redecorated apartment. I'm back today with a few more ideas, and I'll also help you to get the look of her place as well.

Jeremy Conway, the production designer for Sex and the City, gave me some great tips about the products He told me that he custom mixes all of his colors, but the brilliant, lovely ocean blue on Carrie's walls is very close to Benjamin Moore's Electric Blue. The Rug Company was also the source for the movie's gorgeous rugs and a pretty LOVE wall hanging in Carrie's apartment.

Additionally, a fabric panel that runs up the hall in Carrie's apartment is a Marimekko piece. Jeremy also revealed another surprising fact: The writing on the storage shelves surrounding Carrie's flatscreen TV is actually quoted from writer Gertrude Stein, who Jeremy notes is one of Carrie's favorite writers. There's also an ikat>pillow on Carrie's bench seat, and a mirrored table in her living room. Her magazines are stacked on neat gray shelves, and natural-colored, deco-inspired pottery coordinates nicely.

i loove the floral print!
1I want a close up look at the wall above the bed.
2Do you happen to know where the LOVE artwork by the front door came from?
3This place exudes happiness!
4I want...everything.
5It says in the post: "The Rug Company was also the source for the movie's gorgeous rugs and a pretty LOVE wall hanging in Carrie's apartment."
I don't usually like floral couches, but those are great!
6I've been working on a casa cravings list jut for this... maybe it'll be up after the weekend? I'll post it here when I'm done!
7I LOVED her apartment.
8I love the blue color on the wall but I'm not crazy about the entertainment center/storage thingy. It looks too weird. I think it would be better with just a shelf there.
9i loved her new decor
10When I saw the movie, the first thing I loved was the blue walls that made the white detail and shelves pop out. I'm totally going to try this look but with maroon and white walls (since the space is smaller) and keep my furniture white.
11Her apartment looks amazing...I love the way it's decorated. And that blue paint is so gorgeous.
12I didn't like the color, something about the shade seemed slightly off to me. I don't know. But I did LOVE the love wallhanging! I searched the rug company website and found it, if you search for "love" it comes up, I am still waiting to get the price tag for it. But me thinks if you have to email for the price, it is probably over priced.
13I loved caries restyled apartment, especially the blue and the white. I'm thinking about doing white furniture with a few accent pieces as well.
14Her apartment was beyond amazing! Loved loved loved it!!
15ooooo, Carrie Bradshaw and I totally have the same desk!
16hello....i have asked on another thread and am still dying to know the source of the black and white artwork that is in big's apartment. there is a photo on the site now that shows them in bed and the framed artwork is visible behind them. i'd love to know the artist, the name (particularly of the photo that shows trees and a path through the woods) and where I can get them! jeremy, casasugar, can someone help???
17Thanks Kallie and Kathy!
18I just painted my room the electric blue of Carrie's Apartment with white trim and used gorgeous purple Thomas Paul pillows on my bed. Now if only I can find a pretty patterned rug like the one in the movie!
19I JUST saw the movie last night and when I saw the redecorated apartment the first thing I thought was..."That the blue in MY apartment!" So obviously, I love the change (and the movie)!
20I am obsessed with the floral print fabric used on the sofa ... does anybody know where it's from or how i could find out?
also, there were matching arm-chairs in the movie i think?? they looked like some sort of scandinavian vintage ones that had been re-covered ... anybody know the name of that style of chair.. thanks so much
21Does anyone know where I can purchase the end tables (with lamps on)?
