While I've always been the first in line to whip out the paint brush and slap on a coat of deeply saturated blue or green, lately I've been rethinking this strategy. Doesn't this bedroom look like the most serene, lovely sleeping space ever? Maybe white is the new It color scheme . . .

i wanna flop on that bed right now!!!
1i do love me some color... but this does look tranquil!
2I used the all white scheme, with a few touches of green for my bathroom. I live in an apartment and the bathroom is tiny- I don't even have a counter, so in an attempt to make it feel larger (and to wake me up in the morning) I have a white shower curtain, white floor mats and white towels. Additionally, I am kinda a freak and only get white towels (and sheets for that matter) so I can add bleach to the wash and know they are clean and disinfected.
It is the only
part of my life I am clean freak-y about.
3This would never happen at my house - brown tabby cat and fuzzy black dog. But it's pretty to look at.
4I am lucky enough to have inherited some really great sheets from my grandma just like the ones pictured!!!
5It does look relaxing but I'd prefer less chintz-y and more modern lines and textures.
6I would never have thought that I would like an all-white theme, but that looks so tranquil and inviting, I have changed my mind!
7Love it but I'm afraid it would get dirty fast.
8I could do some serious sleeping in that room!
9I'm way too dirty for this. I mean I feel like I'd just lay on it and it'd be ruined. But it's pretty.
10i'd be terrified to sleep in that room.
11i'd be so afraid i'd mess something up!
My bedroom walls are a very pale lavender, so I bought white curtains and pretty white bedding for spring. I love how it brightens things up.
12I like white. It can be very clean, fresh, and uplifting.
13I like white but this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. White can brighten a room but too much reminds me of a hospital.
