If you're planning a bridal shower, you're probably scouring your local shops looking for cute, inexpensive party gifts for your guests. These Cherry Blossom Gift Tins (10 for $22.50) are a great find. I don't know a lady out there who doesn't love pretty, small tins and boxes that can be used for stashing everything from earrings to sewing pins or change. There's just so many uses for little, pretty containers. These Japanese chiyogami (old-paper) gift tins would be a gorgeous, colorful, and unique keepsake tin for your party favors. You could fill them with something small and heartfelt, such as flower seeds, decorative small soaps, or chocolates. It's definitely a unique party favor that everyone will appreciate.

I'm not looking for bridal party favors, but I AM on the hunt for cute, inexpensive prizes for my best friend's shower this weekend. These are so adorable!
1These are cute!
2These are definitely cute and inexpensive enough for anything but I'm wondering what to put in them. It's bad luck to give someone an empty container, doncha know.
3Okay - I can't read. "You could fill them with something small and heartfelt, such as flower seeds, decorative small soaps, or chocolates." These are fabulous ideas. Now I'm loving them.
4My friend gave us a craft bag with goodies and gift certificates.
5These could easily be made for cheaper too. Craft stores sell these tins and you could glue your own paper to the top or you could print stickers for the containers in the same design.
6I feel like these would be kind of a 'meh' gift. It's in my 'crap you don't need' category.
I'm doing pearl earrings. More expensive, yes, but very classic.
7Wait, jk.
I apparently can't read. These are quite cute for shower/etc. favors. I thought we were talking bridal party gifts.
I'm silly.
8misslauren - I am there with you along the lines of "more things to fill my house"... they are cute though. But, this is somewhat functional to hold jewelry or something in.
9but even pearls are a personal taste item and if you want to get a generic, "fits all" gift for everyone these are great. And yes, they are perfect for storing small things, but even if you don't want the tin, it's the thought and meaningfulness of the items inside that can make it special to the recipients.
10Cute! I love them
11It's crap. Id rather have a candle.
12Well, if you're a DIYer you could make these into candle holders. Are there certain requirements to make containers into candles?
