I have one original ceiling pendant in my living room that is quite beautiful and ornate; however, I want to install a tin ceiling in my kitchen. I love the ceiling above!!!!!
i think a modern flat ceiling is fine....my friend has a victorian style house with designed ceilings, it kinda creeps me out everything feels old and haunting with picstures of family from
the 1800's lol........
I've got a popcorn ceiling... but I really don't mind it. It hides how uneven everything is, since it's all plaster. It probably helps that the ceilings are 9ft upstairs and 10ft downstairs.
We have a couple of original medallions downstairs, with grapes and apples on them. Our handyman wanted to paint them fruit colors...
