Goodbye, Ugly Lamp
This lamp was just ugly, plus it was so low my fiancé would hit his head on it every time he left or entered the house. Our friend, a talented carpenter and handyman, helped us switch out the lamp. (Sorry ladies, he's taken!) The next step is to unscrew the lamp from the mounting in the ceiling. Simply remove the cap, and using a screwdriver, carefully unscrew the screws, holding onto the lamp with one hand (or having a helper hold it).
