In case you haven't noticed, it's Spring! Isn't that supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!? Yes, it is. So, it's time to lose a few pounds — and I'm not suggesting you get in shape for the beach. You really need to lighten up your windows! Move that thick velvet drapery to your storage closet in favor of some airy, sheer panels or shades. Spring light is nothing to shy away from; it should be whole-heartedly embraced. Not only will switching to sheer panels let in more light, but it'll give your home a more relaxed look. And, why shouldn't your home loosen up a bit when you're already sporting shorts and flip-flops? Here are a few styles that should fit the bill.

I use sheer panels year round but I JUST got a new white quilt and pair of shams for my bed. It completely brightened up my loft and goes well with my curtains for a lighter and more airy feel.
1The window treatments were included when we bought our house in January. I really need to look for ideas to update them and these suggestions are great. I love the paisley panels. Maybe for the guest room?
2I use sheer panels year round too!
3I always use sheer panels, but I recently bought some pretty white ones for spring.
4I like sheer panels but I get a lot of light in my apt so I need a little more coverage...esp with my neighbors.
