I love to support my local flower stands, but often I find myself picking up bouquets in the supermarket and I simply can't resist the flowers at my weekly farmers' market. I try to steer clear of the bodega flowers, though; they don't seem to last very long. Overall I'm pretty lax about my flower shopping routine (though I try to stick to flowers with the VeriFlora label), but I have friends who are staunch supporters of their neighborhood florists. What about you?

I like it better when peeps by 'em for me, plus they are luxury I just can't afford at the moment. Typically I pick them up at my local florist though.
1Supermarket... Florist are too pricey!
2If I buy cut flowers, which is a very rare occassion, I get them from a local grower. They have an extensive farm and greenhouse that is open to the public and I like that I am supporting a local agri-business.
3My local florists. I love carnations and they tend to be cheaper and last much longer unless it's a special ocassion then I invest in other flowers.
4I pick flowers from my garden. i cant believe that was not a choice
!! I always have
several bouquets in my home. : )
5Most of the time my husband buys them for me at the local florist and on occassion from the supermarket. They have some really pretty arrangements there and the flowers always last so much longer than the ones from the florist's do.
6Doh! I'm going to change the poll right now so you have the option of choosing garden! That is where I get a lot of my flowers.
7I get mine at Trader Joe's. You can't beat the prices and the arrangements are prettier than fancy florists many times. (Plus, then I have an excuse to go in and get their chocolate dipped pretzels)
8Supermarket. They don't last as long but the price is well worth it. I'd love to buy them at the farmers market but it's a 3 month thing around here.
9The French Tulip in Noe is my favorite> I have been using them since I was in high school. I also go to the flower market as it has been a fav spot for my mom to take me since I was a wee lil one.
10Depends...
11farmers markets--all the way!
12I so seldom buy them, but often stop to smell them!
13The florist usually has really fresh flower, besides a farm. My florist has amazing flowers, always fresh, and in an array of assortments.
