Well, I use some CFLs, recycle everything, compost, have replaced several appliances with energy efficient, when I buy new products I try to buy green, I try to shop local and/ or organic,
and I am planting a small garden!
I've started recycling, CFLs, plan to garden, greener cleaners, greener products, cut down on electricity, unplug appliances, reusable store bags. I do everything I can to help the
environment.
I was pretty green to begin with (vegan diet, hybrid car, etc), but this year I really started to consistently re-use grocery bags, and I'm trying to buy more local and organic products now
too.
Herb plants, green cleaners (just switched), less energy usage, more walking (less driving), use my own grocery bag (no plastic) and if need be, paper bag and I recycle.
I am notorious for my lack of a green thumb, but I tried to grow an herb garden...that lasted about a month. But I have made some gradual changes thanks to my New Year's resolution to be
smarter and "greener." I now have all CFLs, I've started bringing reusable grocery bags to the store, I've started walking more (I haven't gassed up my car in almost a month!), and I only buy
recycled papertowels. Small steps, but they are habit forming!
I've had the reusable bags for a couple of months, and I'm finally in the habit of remembering to get them out of the trunk before I head into the store! Feels great to use them.

also, my garden only consists of a few herbs and veggies since i live in an appt.
I only buy green cleaners (altho i still have a few non green ones lingering)
I dont compost but i will if my bf buys me that 300$ indoor odorless one
