Almost a year ago, I posted a Midday Muse post challenging readers to incorporate a floral motif into their homes. Well, one awesome reader took up the challenge by creating some gorgeous floral art. But she didn't stop there!
She also created "Pearls Optional" decorative wall decor, hand-painted acrylic on a vinyl body form.

Not content to stop there, she also made a table using the same motif.

The wrought iron base is a reclaimed tea cart (circa 1940-something) that had seen much better days. This side table will be adding service on our patio that is due to be completed very soon now that the weather is starting to warm.

Haze also created a line of hand-painted skirts using the same design. To see all of her amazing projects, go here. Want to share your photos? Here's how to join Su Casa.

Fantastic!!!
1Thank you, Wren. I really owe the inspiration for all of these pieces to Casa. All in all they are fun to work with and I am looking forward to seeing how all of this takes shape.
2That side table is gorgeous, and I'm glad you are keeping it around for more use.
3Nice work, haze!
4Gorgeous!!! You're very creative and artistic!
5Oh, haze, that's the coolest thing I've seen all week.
6Oh-shucks. Ladies. Thanks so much.
drinkerofh2o - once my husband gets all of his stuff that he collected onto the patio through the winter I'll have to post pics of the entire project. I'm really very happy with how it's shaping up. All of the furniture and fixtures are reclaimed and revitalized pieces from the late 1940s - early 50's and I like to think that I've put some of them to work in very original ways. Hang tight. I'm very excited about it.
7This is phenomenal.
8Thanks so much, aimeeb! They were all very fun to do. Working on this sort of art imparts a certain amount of joy all its own.
