At first glance, this photo of Pieter Jamart's The Box ($552) looks like a stock photo of any ole moving day. But why would someone drop nearly 600 smackers on this box if it were cardboard? You wouldn't. To find out why, read more.
The design is actually a soft, foam cube meant for seating (or as a footstool), which can be coated with polyurethane to make it durable and water resistant for outdoor use. It can also be ordered in your favorite Pantone color if you're in the mood for branding — I'm partial to PMS 178. And while it's not actually a moving box, it certainly can be stacked like one. But, I supposed the bold "FRAGILE" label isn't necessary.

Wow, this is insane. I would never...
1I don't like it.
2Might be cute in a trendy shop or something. I like the concept but I wouldn't buy it.
3That's a cute idea, but why is it $600 if it is just foam?
4err, I have to say that's really kinda wierd looking. Why get something that looks like a box when there's so much fun furniture out there!?
5Well, that's a bit stupid. Haha
6This would be cute in two scenarios:
7A college dorm room
If it costs $10
Otherwise it's totally ridiculous and ugly.
Don't get it, sorry...
8It seems really ghetto to be sitting on a cardboard box at the supper table. A $600 item made to look like a cardboard box is a no-no.
9it lks comfortable.
10i like it being wired.
