"Lisa and Todd's PDX Bungalow" on Design*Sponge chronicles the makeover of makeovers. Creative couple Lisa and Todd purchased a foreclosed Portland home which had been "occupied by various squatters and approximately 50 cats," and which Lisa says smelled, "so bad people had to cross to the other side of the street when they came near the house." Ten dumpsters and a lot of hard work and devotion later, the place looks fabulous — a coveted crib, you might say. To see what their kitchen looks like after the impressive makeover, read more.
Pretty *flipping* inspiring, right? Check out the original post to read and see more. Oh — and make sure to check out Design*Sponge next week; I'm the guest blogger!

Wow...I don't think that I would have it in me to live through that. It looks amazing!
1Wow!What a transformation!
2WOW - great job. I had one of those triple hanging baskets for years in my kitchen. I thought they were out, even though I like them.
3It looks fabulous!
4Wow, a lot of love went into that. I would have completely demolished it and started over.
5I think I would've barfed if I saw the bathroom in person, so there's no way I could've done that kind of remodeling. Awesome job! Even if the house came in good condition, they decorated it really nicely!
6Holy Cow! It's hard to have a vision when your kitchen looked like the "before" image. Kudos for flipping it so beautifully.
7Wow awesome!!

Amazing!
9Unbelievable! Sure makes refinishing my ugly painted cupboards this summer look MUCH more do-able!
10I don't like what they did. Granted, it was horribly run down, but there were a lot of charming original touches to that kitchen. Now it just looks boring.
11This is pretty amazing. Some people are just so creative and talented.
12OMG! I can smell that "before" from here

26This is a major inspiration. If they can go from their before to the gorgeous after I can go from what I have to what I want. Looks like a lot of work but lots of fun.
