The Modern Bamboo Spring Chair ($690-$710) isn't named for the season, but for its subtle springiness when you sit down on it. This comfortable, curvaceous chair is made by Modern Bamboo, a company that initially started out making skateboards. Modern Bamboo founder Anthony Marschak experimented with crafting skateboard decks out of bamboo plywood he subjected to pressure, which created a very flexible and strong skateboard deck.
