It's pretty rare that a sofa makes my Steal of the Day cut. But, at nearly 40 percent off, the Room & Board Townsend 64-inch Armless Sofa ($699, reduced from $1,100) in Doria Pepper certainly qualifies. No, it doesn't have arms, but its plump cushions look enticingly comfortable. Don't you just want to sink into it? I'd love to see it with a low-lying industrial coffee table or a steamer trunk. The "pepper" color is versatile too — perfect with some moody reds, ravishing raspberry or even some robin's egg blue.
