This Ikea Aneboda Chest ($49.99) is pretty basic and nondescript, and its transparent drawer fronts are borderline, if not definitely, tacky. But, its three drawers are the perfect size for my knick-knacks. I pulled off a transformation of the chest that's more my style in under 10 minutes, with only three supplies. - Scissors
- Rubber cement
- Paper from Paper Source
I cut decorative paper to size to cover up the Polypropylene drawer fronts, and glued it with a few strokes of rubber cement. Fini! I was considering replacing the drawer handles with some cute knobs, but I think this will do fine.

6Great Idea! I have the larger birch version of this, and was looking into something to make it a little less...IKEA. haha
7Great idea. I'm a PaperSource regular, but never thought of using their many decorative papers to spruce up a piece of furniture.

9Great idea, and very cute!
10that looks so much better. i wonder if one could paint the cabinet as well, if white is not their "flavor."
11I have the birch version and birch is not quite my 'flavor', so I will try and post pics of the before and after when I tackle the dresser to paint/paper my ikea dresser!
12Gorgeous and easily changed if you grow sick of the pattern or move it to another room.
