Keep a small supply of trash bags at the bottom of your garbage can. That way, when you pull out your full bag, a fresh, new bag will be waiting for you. Just make sure you take out that full bag of trash, and refresh the bag supply when it gets low.

Neat tip!
That's what I do!
The problem is if your trash leaks and you should wipe out the trash can. Then the bags are also dirty.
lol, my mom has been doing that for years! I think my grandma taught her that lol
I totally do this! My parents always did it growing up and it's just a habit for me now. Very convenient!
I learned this trick from the janitorial service we had at work, thought it was smart and started doing it at home. Makes getting the family to take out trash and put in another new bag much easier!
We did this in my dorm room in college. But that was just because you had to go down to the front desk to ask for a garbage bag every time, so instead we would just ask for a whole roll of them and, since storage was tight, just put them in the bottom of the trash.
Good tip, I should try it!
Great tip, the only downside is if you have a leaky garbage bag, you can get 'garbage juice' all over your supply of fresh new bags. I just use the plastic bags that my groceries come in, and I've gotten into the habit of always double bagging my garbage to avoid garbage juice distasters.
