When asked if she considers LA her home, Mischa said, "I like my house, but I don't really have that many emotional ties to Los Angeles. I feel at home in London and in New York. But I am bicoastal now. And it's great to have a place like this. When I am in New York, I like the idea of coming home to this. It's almost like the country side. Very peaceful, very relaxing."
