In nearly every home, a junk drawer is growing, luring refugee "stuff" to find solace there. It's unavoidable really; there are always some odds and ends with no place to go, and the junk drawer is the only haven for them. The trick is clear that junk drawer out frequently, and organize what's left into categories and containers. Regardless of whether it's organized, I know you have one. Admit it. So tell me, what's in your junk drawer?

Welllllllll
1I have one in the kitchen that has everything from pens to papers to screws to envelopes to furniture pads haha. Anything basically that is small and doens't have a spot!
And then I have one in my bedroom that is for things. Like old cards inforamtion etc.
Take out menus, batteries, tie downs for moving things, key covers, battery tester, I think a letter opener, screwdriver, and random random things. It kinda ends up as anything that is on the counter and we don't want to see anymore.
2Mine is in the kitchen, and it contains batteries, old stamps that I can no longer use, random screws and nails, scissors, and oodles of instruction manuals for all of my nifty kitchen gadgets, just in case I need them one day.
3Um, which drawer are you talking about? The one in the kitchen? bathroom? bedroom??!! I do have a ton of those tackleboxes with the tops off to help keep the drawers clean. why I need 6 packets of flower food I don't know...
4I have one big drawer in the kitchen and in there i have cell phone chargers, paper, pens, markers, small hole puncher, flora life packets, my checkbook, lighters, batteries, scissors and other little items i'm always looking for and can never find.
5pens, tape, batteries, scissors, paperwork, lighters, coupons, paper clips, post it notes, pack of gum, keys, screwdriver, printer ink cartridge, chap stick, picture of my and my ex boyfriend at a party, a whistle, a beer cap, a mini calendar, tic tacs, two tealights and a few rubberbands
6birthday candles, beanpod tarts, tealites, take out menus, bobby pins, fancy napkins, and matches.
73 kinds of batteries, several pair of scissors, old address books, a Kewpie doll, a couple screwdrivers, birthday candles, chap stick, gum, box knives, pens and pencils, writing tablets, and God knows what else.
8I allow one small drawer for junk. It has batteries, tape, super glue, scissors, etc.
9i have a kitchen one and a bathroom one
10kitchen: matches, menus, light bulbs, scissors, tape, and pretty much anything that needs a temporary home (i perodically clean it out)
bathroom: hair clips, hair pins, pony tails, nail files, nail clippers, combs, brushes, and anything beauty related (i perodically clean this one out too)
I have one in the living room housing; extra gum, tape measure, dog flea treatment, frisbee, envelopes, scissors, tape, spare car key, a glade plug-in, ipod covers, a lighter, paper pads, extension cord, blah blah it never ends!
11batteries, take out menus, rubber bands (the kind from produce), Super Glue, and stuff to clean the dog's ears with.
We just moved in so the junk drawer is still evolving.
12Oh jeez...some takeout menus, a small tool kit, batteries, flashlight, Scotch tape, scissors, elastics, nails/picture hanging kit, a phone book...
13Mostly freebies I get from companies and such
14My mom has a little drawer set up like in the picture.
15actually, i don't have one. i have about 6 drawers in my desk which is in the living room/kitchen/dining room/office all-in-one area, and have an in-out tray that is on my desk where i put things to file but i usually clear that everyday or 2. when my roommie and i moved in together, 7 years ago, we decided to never have a junk drawer!
16i don't have a junk drawer. if you designate a place for everything, you won't need one. i find that's very important if you live in a small space.
