Cheryl Cecchetto, the special events producer of this year's Governors Ball, the Oscars after party, suspended glass globes from the ceiling of the venue, which reflect light around the room. Personally, I find them a tad too fishbowl or terrarium-esque for my taste, and not as elegant as I'd expect for such an event. But, I appreciate Cecchetto's creativity and ability to bring new purpose to an everyday object. What do you think?

I kind of love them! But then I have magpie tendencies...everything shiny and glassy makes me happy! (well, not everything)
Watch out for the champagne cork!!
Actually, I kinda like it. Permanent bubbles above your head!
its creating a dreamy atmosphere
I love this look! It looks very elegant to me.
i love it....it's like balloons covering the ceiling...but better!!
although part of me would be scared one might fall....
I think it looks beautiful.
It creates this other-worldly, fairytale atmosphere, at least in the photograph; it reminds me of my childhood blowing bubbles and playing dress up. I kind of love it!
Very pretty! I like how delicate and pretty it is!
It does look like bubbles.
gorgeous
Wow...
My first thought was bubbles too. Perfect!
I'm not sure about the way it looks for this type of event but I'd love it for something a little less formal.
