Dutch design company Studiomeiboom has created a lamp that would look right at home on your bookshelf. Their white plexiglass book lamp ($143, including shipping), is called The Enlightenment (for the intellectual movement of the 18th century), and will light up a dark, book-heavy corner of your home library.

Eh not a fan.
I like it, but it's probably too warm to actually sit on your shelf next to nice books while lit. Also pretty pricey for what it is.
i LOVE this idea!
I think it's a cute idea!
Kind of cute.
I'm a fan of integrated lighting and unique lighting solutions that aren't lamps or overhead.
Oh, but I forgot to say that I couldn't use this because I don't keep books.
I kinda dig it, but not for that price.
I love this!
Ooooh, I like this!
Super cool idea. I love books and for some reason addicted to lamps. Also I looked on the web-site and it says that 10% goes to charity.
I like it.
...why would I need one of those? I'm just trying to figure out what on earth would be the point of it. So you've got a dark corner you buy a booklight? Not clicking here.
