The Horchow Hand-Painted Cabinet ($1,299) is painted with swirls and florals of gold, teal, and antiqued cream for a colorful, Moroccan look. As shown, it makes a beautiful bar for the love shack, but I'd also love to see it holding bath towels in a tranquil, spa-like bathroom. Unfortunately, it's a tad bit out of my price range, so I'll have to throw in the towel and settle for my linen closet. To see a close-up of the cabinet, read more

It's lovely. I also wish I could afford it!
1It's beautiful, but for that kind of money, I'd rather buy an authentic antique.
2So deatiled! I love older things because the detail is always second to none!
3So nice...
4Love this cabinet! I want it in my bathroom!!
5oh my god that cabinet is gorgeous. there's gotta be a way to diy though. hmmm, maybe i'll look into that
6i wouldnt mind this if it was actually an antique
7I'm really not that drawn to this. It's pretty, but I just can't see myself ever buying something like this.
8Beautiful.
9I noticed this when I was on Horchow the other day and I think it's really beautiful. I love the weathered look. I was looking at some of their Asian-inspired wall tv cabinets for my livingroom. This piece would definitely need the space to be shown off.
Antiques are great, but I also think that you can accent your home with beautiful finds that are both antique and contemporary. I have an 120-year old Victorian which has many antiques, but is certainly NOT period or stuffy. It's all in the eye and placement of pieces that make a home tasteful, interesting and unique.
Thanks for the post!
10it is so nice, i think it is come from my country.I have been in a company just sell like this furniture.
11Ha! Very cool. We actually make this cabinet (though no idea if the one shown here came from us or not). Though Moroccan inspired, its actually made here in Beijing and the cabinet itself is based on a Chinese country style farm cabinet. Swapping the finish for a rustic sky blue and adding in a bit of "miao jin" gold trim and the effect is quite different. There is more of this "look" at http://www.antique-chinese-furniture.com/blog/2008/10/21/fun-and-funky-d...
Lots of love and care put into these cabinets!
12oooooo VERY nice! i love it! It's very cute & authentic!
