Brastilo, a line of home furnishings made from indigenous wood harvested from renewable resources from Brazil, takes a casually elegant approach to entertaining with their earth-friendly products. This Brastilo console ($1259) brings together a hand-finished solid pine frame mixed with cast-brass handles and aluminum hardware to create a strikingly beautiful effect. With two sliding doors and two shelves, it makes a great addition to a dining room when used as a buffet. Made of solid taeda pine frame with cast brass hardware and solid aluminum door tracks, this console is perfect for displaying a buffet spread or can substitute for a stylish bar at a dinner party.

I love it!
1I love it as well.
21300 for that is ABSURD. If I were to invest that kind of money on something like that it would have to have legs that didn't look like IKEA. I hate the legs. The price is outlandish.
3Don't like it. For that amount of money I would rather get a piece that would actually look like it's worth $1300.
4I love consoles, but I've seen ones that I like better than this.
5Usually the price reflects the fact that a piece is made from wood in a rain forest in Brazil that was set for demolition, right? But this is pine?
6wouldn't an antique or secondhand piece in teak be nicer? a lot greener, and i'd personally rather spend my money on an older piece.
7I think the design is awesome!
8Besides, How exotic to have a piece from the South...
