I want to get a new doormat.
1My house is being painted as I type this! I know, it is costly. BUT, we also did some landscaping this weekend. We pulled out an ugly bush, a bunch of logs and replaced them with decorative bricks. The bricks were only .87 each. We planted some flowers and are patching the grass where the bush was. Its going to look like a completely different house!
2we've been working on our yard mostly. We have a huge wall around our house so there's not a lot we can do about that. I'd love to paint but that'll probably have to wait a long time!
3It's a common accepted fact that first impressions make a big difference. 'The power of small' gets less attention, but is equally as powerful and I love how this story illustrates just that! The two concepts really do go hand in hand -- small changes can do wonders for improving the look and value of your home!
